THE RAINBOW CLINIC
Presented by Madeleine Painter
The Rainbow Clinic is a Paediatric Occupational Therapy Private Practice based in the Lake Macquarie area. The Rainbow Clinic sees children from the ages of 2-18 years and offers therapy to NDIS participants, Medicare and private clients. These children and young adults have a range of diagnoses including learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Physical Disabilities, Anxiety Disorders, Developmental Coordination Disorders and sensory processing disorders. The Rainbow Clinic recognises a child's strengths and areas for development and set realistic, measurable goals to help them achieve and reach their full potential. The clinic provides assessment, treatment and ongoing therapy sessions either within the clinic, at schools/preschools or at home, depending on the needs of the child and family.
The Rainbow Clinic's mission is to use passion and creativity to empower children and families to reach their full potential. Their purpose is to continue supporting children and young people with special needs to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives. This is done through imparting knowledge, providing strategies and teaching the right tools for them to gain more independence in their activities of daily living.
The Rainbow Clinic is expanding into the multi-disciplinary space, with a recent addition of a Clinical Nutritionist and Psychologist, and the overall long-term vision is to build an Intergrated Children's Health Centre. A holistic Paediatric space where you have the opportunity to utilise the benefits of having all disciplines working together to meet the child's outcomes as well as supporting families and community through ongoing education and collaboration.
